We cannot wait to welcome you to our Community Day this Saturday, the 16th of March, at 3 PM.
We will have all the rooms set up so everyone can see how the community can start using the hub, including:

We will have all the rooms set up so everyone can see how the community can start using the hub, including:
- The Meeting Room: This room can accommodate groups of 14 in either boardroom or classroom style. It is an excellent training room and meeting room, and is also suitable for book clubs, card playing, women’s groups, flower arranging, crafts, film clubs, and yoga classes. There is a 75-inch TV for training, movies, etc.
- The Children’s Room: Suitable for birthday parties for primary school children, it can also be used for camps, preschool, after school programs, and parent and toddler/baby meetups.
- Office / Co-working Rooms: There are two offices that can be rented out entirely or used for co-working desks. This will suit people working from home who need access to fiber broadband, may want a break from working alone, or are visiting family and need a suitable place to work.
- Foyer: Hot-desks are available for those wishing to catch up on emails or needing access to high-speed broadband. The foyer can also accommodate small parties of up to 60 people, cake sales, yoga sessions, meetings, youth groups, etc.

Less than three weeks until we open our doors! Everyone is invited to our community day at 3pm on Saturday the 16th of March.
It is so exciting to have the first stage of our new community facility opening! The talented Tommy Marren from Mid West Radio will join the community on the day.
This is an opportunity for the community to come together to see and share how the new hub can serve the locality and celebrate how far this project has come in the three years since the initial fundraising online St Patrick’s Day concert.
The day will include:

- Ireland’s Six Nations game on the big screen
- Complimentary Party Food

- Speech by Tommy at 3.30pm

2024 is going to be such an exciting year as we get closer and closer to our opening day! The floors are in, the plasterers are nearly finished and the finish line is in sight!!

Our committee was delighted with a tour of the building. It's really coming on and everyone was surprised with how big it is!! We are organising a tour of the building next weekend (October Bank Holiday) for anyone who may be interested in office rental, shared offices, hotdesks, meeting room hire, etc. If you would like to join us please email [email protected]

Sneak peek!! It's really beginning to take shape!! Already there is a lovely atmosphere in the building which will be warm, energy efficient and served by high speed broadband. Phase one will launch in March 2024 and we are looking for the input now of people in the community who would be interested in using the meeting room, offices and co-working spaces. We are making decisions relating to the interior design and layout now so please feel free to get in touch. The reception area will be large enough to host small events such as bingo, social dancing, etc. Please email [email protected] or contact any of the committee members.
